  1. I am referring to the book, not the nation of Islam or religion, just the book like any other book. Let me say it this way. How do you feel about how the Quran is being used by the American African?

      • “O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower [money given by the husband to the wife for the marriage contract] ye have given them, except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good. (The Noble Quran, 4:19)”
How would you use the Quran now knowing that it encourages equality?

      • “Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and forsake them in beds apart, and beat them.” Quran 4:34,”

“A male shall inherit twice as much as a female.” Quran 4:11″

The Quran obviously contradicts itself. Furthermore, I would use the Quran if it did encourage equality because I am not a Muslim.

  2. I can see why you misunderstand the Quran. Not only are the words out of context from the native Arabic language, remember the english language its not where the Quran originated from, [the english language is a mix of languages around the world] you also do not see the meaning. When the wife disobeys the husband and vise versa, there is punishment. It is saying that when a wife disobeys to warn her, if she continues, do not have intercourse with her, if she continues to strike her.

Equality only works when individuals act their role. When you are not acting your role, there are repercussions. It does not only apply to a child.

Please if we are to have a conversation towards truth, you place the Quran out of context by not fully showing it.[4:11]
Again your statement of the Quran is false.

  3. “Furthermore, BlackExcellenceX influences positive & critical thought.”
Your website is a suitable outlet for what you value, there is no value in secret.
This is a topic that needs to be addressed, not only do you see the Quran as a device to encourage inequality, but so many of the american african community also. If you want change, it starts now.

    • I’m not trying to hold any secrets but I’m not going to debate religion or a Holy Book w/ you. You quoted the Quron and so did I. You have it right and I don’t? But it’s all from the same book? Its all a subjective interpretation.

      • It was a very promoting conversation, why u chose to end it or to have outside WordPress ??!!!!
Plz can I have ur email ????

  4. My question: “How do you feel about how the Quran is being used by the American African?”

My question arose from my subjective interpretation of the American African behavior in relation to the Quran. The Quran itself is not Subjective Interpretation.

That is how you use the term Subjective Interpretation.
